SlamJump Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, participants, guardians, and customers (“you”, “your”) who access, use, or engage with SlamJump and any of its attractions, services, birthday parties, or private venue hire. SlamJump is a trading name of SlamJump Limited (“we”, “our”, “us”). By entering our premises, using our facilities, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice.

Summary

SlamJump is a family-friendly venue suitable for all ages. Children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult, especially in trampoline areas where older children are jumping, and the toddler area (0–3 years) requires adult supervision at all times. All guests enter the venue at their own risk and must follow safety rules, including wearing socks on play equipment. Birthday parties and private venue hires are available, with standard birthday packages including 60 minutes in the party room and catered packages including 60 minutes. Private venue hire accommodates larger groups with minimum hire durations and optional extensions.

Outside food and drink is not permitted, unless you have a birthday room booked. Cakes are not included in birthday packages, but can be purchased from SlamJump. Alcohol can only be purchased on-site from our licensed bar or café. Deposits are required to secure bookings and are non-refundable, while remaining balances may be refundable depending on the notice period. Guests are responsible for supervising children, adhering to venue rules, and respecting safety, hygiene, and property standards. Cleaning is included in bookings, but additional charges may apply for damage or unacceptable conditions. CCTV monitors the venue for safety, and photos or videos may be taken for marketing purposes. SlamJump may cancel or reschedule bookings due to circumstances beyond our control, and all activities are subject to New Zealand law. For questions, email info@slamjump.co.nz.

General Conditions

  • Our facilities are open to all ages. We recommend that children under 4 must be accompanied by an adult, particularly in the trampoline areas where bigger kids are often jumping.
  • All guests must wear socks in play areas. Grip socks are available for purchase at the front counter for $5 each.
  • All-day play is permitted. Standard birthday packages include 60 minutes in the birthday room, catered packages include 60 minutes in the birthday room. Children may play before and after the room is booked.
  • All guests enter SlamJump at their own risk. By entering the venue, using equipment, or participating in activities, guests acknowledge the inherent risks of physical activity and play. SlamJump and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.
  • The toddler area is designed for children aged 0-3 years. Adult supervision is required at all times. Children over 3 are not permitted to use the toddler area.
  • Re-entry after leaving the venue is permitted only on the same day. Please keep your wristband on for re-entry.
  • Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited in all areas, including the outside entrance/seating area.
  • Outside food and drink is not permitted in the venue, except for parties with booked birthday rooms. Cakes are not provided with birthday packages but can be purchased from SlamJump.
  • Cleaning fees are included in all bookings. If the venue or birthday room is left in an unacceptable state, a $50 cleaning fee may apply.
  • Prices, packages, and GST are subject to change without notice.
  • SlamJump may contact you for feedback and marketing purposes. You can opt-out at any time.
  • Bookings are only confirmed once SlamJump issues a booking confirmation email and the deposit has been paid.

Birthday Packages

  • Birthday packages accommodate up to 10 children (extras can be added for an additional fee). Recommended supervision: 1 adult per 5 children (minimum 1 adult per 10 children). Staff are not counted in these ratios and are not responsible for active supervision.
  • Two package options: Standard (60 min birthday room), Catered (60 min birthday room). Playtime before and after the room is booked is allowed.
  • The birthday room is exclusive to your party for the booked time. Early access up to 15 minutes may be permitted; vacate promptly at end time to allow for cleaning.
  • Booking details, including guest list, dietary requirements, food, and final payment, must be confirmed at least 72 hours prior to the party.
  • Optional catering is available with two menu choices: Traditional and Alternative/Healthy.
  • Optional extras such as party helpers or themed decorations may be available at an additional cost. Details and availability will be provided upon request.

Private Venue Hire

  • Private venue hire is available for up to 220 guests. All guests must be included in the confirmed guest list at least 7 days prior to booking.
  • Minimum hire duration: 2 hours. Extensions: $300 per hour.
  • Access 15 minutes prior to booking; vacate promptly at the end. Late exit may incur $100 per 15 minutes.
  • Children and adults must follow all facility rules. Supervision ratio: minimum 1 adult per 10 children. Staff are not counted in this ratio and are not responsible for active supervision.
  • Guests may bring their own food, kitchen facilities are available to prepare and store food.
  • SlamJump is a fully licensed venue. Alcohol may only be purchased on-site from our licensed bar or café areas. BYO alcohol is not permitted unless prior written approval is obtained from SlamJump management. Any approved BYO alcohol must comply with all New Zealand liquor licensing laws.

Refund Policy

  • All bookings are non-refundable, except as noted below.
  • Birthday Packages: $100 deposit non-refundable. Remaining balance refundable up to 7 days prior to the party. Cancellations within 7 days: no refund.
  • Private Venue Hire: $300 deposit non-refundable. Remaining balance refundable up to 10 working days prior to booking. Cancellations 10 working days or fewer but more than 72 hours: 50% of balance non-refundable. Cancellations within 72 hours: no refund.
  • General Bookings (admissions, passes, gift cards): Non-refundable and non-transferable. Passes valid for 365 days from date of purchase; pre-purchasing does not guarantee entry if the venue is at capacity.
  • Merchandise: Refunds only provided if the item is purchased online and is not in stock at the venue. Otherwise, purchased items are non-refundable.
  • All refunds and cancellations are subject to New Zealand law and SlamJump's discretion.

Food & Beverages

  • Outside food and drink is not permitted in the venue, except for parties with booked birthday rooms or private hire. Outside food may only be consumed in the booked area. Cakes are allowed and may be purchased from SlamJump. Please notify us of any allergies in advance.
  • SlamJump is a licensed venue. Alcohol may be purchased on-site. BYO alcohol is not permitted without prior written approval and must comply with New Zealand liquor licensing laws. Alcohol must not be brought into children's play areas. Consumption by minors is strictly prohibited. SlamJump reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests behaving inappropriately.
  • Guests must follow all hygiene and safety instructions provided by SlamJump. Food should not be left unattended, and all spillages must be reported immediately. SlamJump is not responsible for allergic reactions or illness caused by food consumed on-site unless food is supplied by SlamJump.

Birthday Return

  • Birthday child receives a free return visit valid for 90 days after the birthday party.
  • Voucher is non-transferable and must be used by the birthday child.
  • Voucher cannot be combined with discounts or other promotions.

Booking & Payment

  • Deposits: $100 for birthdays, $300 for private hire (non-refundable).
  • Remaining balances must be paid upon arrival to the venue or prior to the event start time.
  • Changes to guest numbers, package type, or booking times must be communicated at least 72 hours prior to birthdays, 7 days prior for private hire.
  • SlamJump may require a credit card on file for security against damages, unpaid tabs, or cleaning fees.

Multi-Entry & Annual Passes

  • Multi-Entry Passes and Annual Passes are valid for 12 months (1 year) from the date of purchase.
  • Passes are non-transferable and valid only for the named child at the time of purchase. They cannot be shared or transferred to siblings, friends, or other guests.
  • Passes are physical cards. Each visit is logged in SlamJump's system for security and usage verification.
  • SlamJump staff will punch or mark the physical card on each visit. If the card is lost or damaged, a replacement can be issued after verifying the record in SlamJump's system.
  • Passes are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or other services.
  • Passes are valid for general admission only and cannot be used for birthday parties, private venue hire, or special events, unless otherwise stated by SlamJump management.
  • Children holding a pass are still included in the total number of children for birthday bookings and are not exempt from per-child charges.
  • SlamJump reserves the right to cancel or revoke any pass without refund if it is misused, shared, or used in breach of venue rules.
  • Lost or stolen passes must be reported immediately. SlamJump is not responsible for unauthorised use before the loss is reported.
  • Entry with a pass is still subject to venue capacity limits and conditions of entry. Pre-purchasing a pass does not guarantee entry when the venue is at full capacity.
  • SlamJump may update pass terms, pricing, or benefits from time to time. Updates will not affect already-purchased, active passes within their valid period.

Safety Rules, Attire & Medical Conditions

  • Socks required on all play equipment. No shoes, bare feet, or outdoor footwear.
  • Remove jewellery, belts, and sharp objects before play.
  • No strict maximum age; venue is most suitable for ages 0-15. Children 3 and under should not use trampolines and rock climbing walls unsupervised.
  • Do not attend if contagious, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, or flu-like symptoms are present. Notify SlamJump of severe allergies at least 72 hours prior for Birthday Parties, 7 days for Private Hire.

Decorations, Photography & Third-party Vendors

  • Decorations must be free-standing; no adhesives, nails, staples, or tape unless pre-approved. No confetti or glitter unless pre-approved. Helium balloons allowed if secured safely.
  • Third-party entertainers/vendors must be approved in writing and may need public liability insurance.
  • Venue is monitored 24/7 by CCTV for safety and security; footage is handled per Privacy Policy.
  • SlamJump may take photos/video for marketing; attendance constitutes consent unless flagged. Guests must not photograph others without permission.

Damage, Cleaning & Overstay

  • Cleaning is included in the package price. If venue/room is left in an unacceptable condition, a $50 cleaning fee will apply.
  • Customer liable for damage or theft caused by guests; SlamJump will charge repair/replacement costs plus admin fees.
  • Overstay charges: $100 per 15 minutes (or part thereof) if you fail to vacate on time.

Liability, Waiver & Indemnity

  • Guests enter at their own risk. SlamJump and staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
  • All attendees must adhere to safety rules, including trampoline and equipment usage.
  • SlamJump excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss (missed work, travel, income, etc.) and injuries caused by other guests.
  • Customers indemnify SlamJump for claims arising from breach of Terms, negligence of guests, or actions of third-party providers engaged by the customer.

Force Majeure / Operational Changes

  • SlamJump may cancel or reschedule bookings due to events beyond our control (severe weather, lockdowns, maintenance, health orders).
  • Refunds or rescheduling will be offered at our discretion.
